A Perfect Union
Union College Partners with id29 to Build Brand, Strengthen MarketingUnion College (Schenectady, NY) has chosen id29 as its long-term brand and marketing communications partner. id29 will help develop Union's comprehensive brand identity and collaborate with the college to create an integrated marketing program that strengthens Union's position as one of the nation's leading liberal arts schools.
"Union College has sometimes been called a "hidden gem", said Jill Hungsberg, Union's Senior Director of Communications and Marketing. "But as a top-tier liberal arts school that also boasts an excellent engineering program, the time has come to be far less "hidden" and to elevate our national profile through a cohesive branding effort. id29 has the design, creative and strategic skills to help us do that. They will bring a truly unique and fresh perspective to how we market the college to our target audiences."
In 2007, under the leadership of President Stephen C. Ainlay, Union's Board of Trustees adopted a strategic plan for the college that serves as a roadmap for advancing its educational mission. Ensuring that internal and external constituents of the college understand its priorities and what makes Union unique is a key element of implementing the plan.
