Every few minutes Jack flip-flops between being an artist and a software developer. Naturally he always ends up back on the web where he started. In the late 1990’s he left the web to study video art, graphic design and communication theory at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Unhappy with the video software at his disposal, Jack began staying up until dawn dreaming, designing, and coding his own tools. This turned into a full-job running a Mac software software company—and somehow—a gig performing at Lincoln Center. Eventually Jack got sucked back into web development where he’s spent the last 5 years building websites and designing user interfaces. Mastering HTML and CSS have allowed him to bridge the gap between design and development in order to solve unique problems and build beautiful websites for some very nice people. Jack likes em dashes, the movie True Stories, standing in art galleries with a stupid smile on his face, and writing in the third-person.
