Bright Ideas required a brand identity that is modern, youthful, emblematic of their local-first ethos and imbued with a sense of optimisim which reflects North Adams’ burgeoning creative economy.
A striking core symbol inspired by North Adam’s location in the northern hills of Berkshire County anchors a handful of compositional logo arrangements that can be deployed by Bright Ideas’ in-house team. Original typography fosters a happy, inclusive tone while serving to anchor larger design pieces such as can labels.
Immediately upon opening, Bright Ideas was able to supply freshly-poured Crowlers of beer to-go.
In the Spring of 2019, Bright Ideas began a mobile canning initiative to meet customer demand. id29 designed a brand-forward label system which alleviates the often time-consuming and costly enterprise of “making a new label.”
Our solution revolves around the color palette as the primary design variable; a unique colorway for each season. This strategy allows Bright Ideas to bring new products to market with maximal efficiency and minimal headaches. Seasonal colorways help to keep a fresh shelf appeal while adhering to overarching brand standards.
