id29 is seeking an Account Director

The Account Director leads our customers and orchestrates their work within the agency, ensuring that we are solving the customers’ problems and meeting their opportunities with all of the services we provide. This person takes the time to understand our clients’ business and is able to independently and collaboratively build marketing strategies and plans that move the needle for our clients. They take responsibility for the delivery of quality strategic, creative and media services work that meets our clients’ needs and addresses their business problems in a manner that is both profitable for the agency and sustainable for the client.

This position may personally oversee key agency accounts and/or manage and direct account executives within our team.

The primary objective of this position is to drive customer happiness and long-term relationships to increase agency revenue.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Managing the communication between agency and client
  • Building trust, confidence and rapport with agency clients and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Promoting the agency’s full range of services to encourage further business with existing clients
  • Writing and negotiating proposals, scopes of work and contracts
  • Reporting to agency Principals
  • Managing account executives and their work with clients
  • Analyzing productivity reports from their office and determining ways to increase profitability
  • Reporting their team's successes and challenges to agency Principals
  • Monitor billing and sending out invoices
  • Meeting new clients through marketing initiatives and networking events
  • Bringing in new business opportunities to the agency
  • Initiating and overseeing long-term planning for clients
  • Some travel based on client needs and projects

Compensation: Depending on Experience
